Frequently asked questions
Will you try to sell us a development project?
No. Consultancy engagements are independent of any build work, so our recommendations aren't shaped by an incentive to sell you hours.
What if we've already started building?
That's a common reason to bring us in. We regularly review in-flight projects and give an honest read on whether the current direction is the right one.
Do we need existing documentation for a review?
It helps but isn't required. Where documentation doesn't exist, part of the engagement is working out what actually exists by talking to the people who built it and reading the code itself.
How long does a typical engagement take?
Most reviews take one to three weeks depending on the size of the system, ending with a written set of findings and recommendations.
